DATA ANALYSIS FOR RESONANT GRAVITATIONAL WAVE ANTENNAE: INTERNAL VETOES AND chi2 LIKE TEST

Abstract:

We discuss the practical possibility of performing a chi2 like test of the goodness of the optimal data filtering in the data analysis systems of the subkelvin resonant gravitational wave antenna AURIGA. We show, with the help of a numerical simulation, how this kind of test can substitute the empirical consistency tests that are used to reject spuria events in single detectors
